Archie is a personal assistant used by one person: Jamin Burchard, who built it and is its only user. There is no sign-up, no other account, and no one else whose data it touches.
With Google account authorisation, Archie reads Google Calendar and Gmail belonging to its owner, and can create or change calendar events when asked to. It reads email metadata — sender, subject, and the short preview Gmail provides — to sort mail by whether it needs attention. It reads the full text of a message only when checking whether it contains an appointment.
It also reads a published Outlook calendar feed, a Skylight family calendar, and public weather data.
Everything stays on a single computer in the owner's home, in a local database. Nothing is uploaded to a hosting provider, sold, shared, or used to train anything.
Text is sent to Anthropic's API so the assistant can understand requests and write replies. That is the only place data leaves the machine, and it goes nowhere else from there.
Calendar and email content is held only as long as it is useful — recent events are cached briefly, and email is stored as a record of what has already been looked at rather than as a copy of the messages themselves. Archie does not keep a second copy of the inbox.
Google access can be revoked at any time from Google Account permissions, which stops Archie reading anything immediately.
